This HAORI by SUSUMU AI is a timeless layering piece that unites traditional Japanese textile artistry with modern wearability. Made from 100% organic cotton and dyed with authentic indigo.
The cut reflects the traditional haori silhouette – relaxed and mid-length – making it the perfect piece to layer over a T-shirt, button-down, or knit. Two looped ties at the front offer a subtle, secure closure while maintaining the minimalist elegance of the design. Complete with side pockets, it balances functionality and cultural richness.
Each piece is unique due to the hand-dyed nature of the fabric, celebrating craftsmanship, sustainability, and Japanese tradition.

Each piece is Made to Order in our Berlin atelier. Standard delivery time is 7–14 business days, as every garment is crafted with the utmost care exclusively for you.
Yes. We provide complimentary shipping within the EU on orders above €300.
Of course. You may return your item within 14 days of delivery. As each piece is made individually to order, we kindly ask you to purchase consciously.
Our fabrics are sourced fromrenowned Japanese mills(such as Chirimen Crepe from Osaka and organic indigo-dyed cotton from Okayama), while each garment iscrafted in our Berlin atelier.
It’s machine washable up to 30C° and wrinkle-resistant — no dry cleaning required and no ironing needed.
We do not yet have a physical boutique, but we warmly welcome you to visit us in our Berlin atelier. Within our atelier, we have a private showroom where you can explore the collection, try on pieces, and purchase directly.
We are also delighted to offer personal fittings and bespoke adjustments, creating garments individually tailored for you. To ensure the most personal experience, we kindly ask you to schedule an appointment in advance, so we can receive you with the attention and care you deserve.
